Sr. NetSuite Functional Consultant

Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business procedures and determine the appropriate modifications to be applied to NetSuite solutions.
• Assist in the development of specifications, configure the system, and oversee and deploy environment modifications.
• Knowledge of full-cycle NetSuite ERP implementation consulting experience coupled with a comprehensive understanding of ERP applications. Including completing end-to-end implementations and leading projects.
• Host meetings directly with clients to gather requirements, analyze situations and provide solutions.
• Work in conjunction with technical consultants, delivery leads, and project managers to coordinate efforts and meet deadlines, as well as provide a status of the work in progress and provide input to help adjust the planning.
• Provide training to end-users during the implementation phase.
• Meet with business leaders, decision-makers, and end users to define business requirements and systems goals.
• Document and develop business process flows, requirements, and designs through NetSuite data mapping.
• Create, customize, and manage NetSuite fields, workflows, roles/permissions, custom objects, custom records, scripts, reports, saved searches, dashboards, etc.
• Assist in the ongoing administration of NetSuite and systems as part of a team effort.
• create/ modify user roles and permissions, item configuration, workflows, custom fields, custom records, dashboards, advanced templates, multibook entities, searches, reporting changes, related administration duties, etc.
• Develop a strong knowledge of the core NetSuite modules including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, design to build, Record to Report, and Advance Financial Modules.
• Provide ongoing post-implementation support to optimize user adoption and NetSuite configuration.
• Participate in time tracking and forecasting every week.

Requirements and skills:

• +5 years of experience in finance/accounting systems, preferably NetSuite or similar ERPs
• A university degree in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration/Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent.
• NetSuite certifications would be considered a strong asset
• Self-motivated, able to work alone and in teams, articulate, and able to build long-term relationships with clients.
• Knowledge of several different modules and functional areas of NetSuite such as Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, HRM, CRM, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Inventory, etc.
• Have experience in all phases of a project: analysis, design, deployment, configuration, system administration, conversion, installation, training, support
• Strong communication, interpersonal and team-building skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet utilization rate expectations.
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to tackle problems systematically to determine causes and produce effective solutions.
